ALITALIA

Alitalia – Società Aerea Italiana (alitalia.com) – is one of Italy’s top companies. During the 2019 summer season, Alitalia served 100 destinations, including 27 in Italy and 73 worldwide, and operated more than 4,300 weekly flights on 150 routes.

From 25 October 2019 to 28 March 2020, the airline will offer direct flights to Mauritius three times a week from Rome Fiumicino Airport. Flights will depart Fiumicino Airport at 21:20 every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, arriving in Mauritius at 10:40 (local time) the following day. Return flights from Mauritius will take place every Monday, Thursday and Saturday at 12:30 pm (local time) and will arrive at Fiumicino Airport at 20:25. Alitalia passengers originating from major Italian and international cities will benefit from a convenient connection at Rome Fiumicino Airport in order to reach the beautiful island of Mauritius.

As a partner of the "Stars in Paradis” event, Alitalia’s direct flights from Italy to Mauritius are part of the "Experience Packages" being offered to mark the occasion. By continuing to invest in Mauritius as a destination, the Italian airline is able to meet the increasing demand for direct connections between the two countries, especially during the winter, and to contribute to the number of tourist arrivals from Italy.
